I don’t really like fuchsias but this week’s cheerful flower might just make me change my mind.
I spotted it on a visit to Bourton House Gardens – more of that on the blog later this week. The combination of the elegant shape and the colour against the dark leaves is knockout.

That is unusual. I do like fuchsias but they are not doing well this year.
Lots of things aren’t doing well this year – I’ve all but given up on cosmos and the dahlias are very slow.
