Cheering Up Mondays #418

Now this is a welcome sight – and not just to brighten up a Monday morning.

Clematis montana is full of flower.

It got hit very badly in last year’s cold winter and barely flowered last spring. I was worried that it wouldn’t recover but it’s tough and has bounced back. This year, it’s covered with flowers – just the thing to start the week.

The name is long gone but I do know it’s a montana variety.

  1. Such a delicate shade of pink. I have a white Asda montana – the cheapest and most floriferous clematis in the garden. Just about to come into flower.
