The first of the iris to flower in my garden for this week’s cheerful flower.
I grow quite a few iris as they like my free-draining soil and the season starts with these dainty beauties.

Pixie is sweet, I once grew that one, looks very similar to Rhapsody. Both lovely blue colours. I grow my little irises in pots, they don’t seem to come back in the garden, probably too wet.
Mine are in pots as well – easier to photograph!
