I’m dreaming of daffodils – not least because I’ve finally finished planting all the bulbs that I somehow bought. So, a daffodil that I spotted earlier this year seemed the ideal cheerful flower for this week.
I saw this variety on a visit to Great Dixter back in May (read about it here) and it was first on my list for this year’s bulb order. More and more I find I prefer dainty narcissi in pale colours and this is perfect.
