Cheering Up Mondays #381

This week’s cheerful flower is a special rose.

Rosa ‘Peach Melba’.

‘Peach Melba’ is Rose of the Year 2023 and not only does it look wonderful, it’s also really healthy. Roses struggle on my sandy soil but not this one. A real winner.

  1. Like you, I have sandy soil and struggle badly with most roses.I usually find that roses are fine in year one but come year two…………….

    1. It does take a while for them to establish and they’re rarely outstanding. Also I have to resign myself to blackspot as I won’t spray.
