No, I haven’t got daffodils in flower yet but I did start planting new bulbs at the weekend. This is a variety that I grew for the first time last year and I liked it so much, I bought more bulbs this season.

Ah, Eaton Song! I was going to buy some this year after seeing them on blogs last spring (maybe yours?) since my maiden name was Eaton it seemed appropriate. But I forgot and bought Mother Duck and Jetfire for the first time. Next year… (scribbles name in notebook).
I’ve not come across ‘Mother Duck’. What a wonderful name. 🙂
