I make no apologies for repeating this for Cheering Up Mondays. Lily of the Valley was the Queen’s favourite flower and so apt for today.
The flowers appeared in the Queen’s coronation bouquet and form the basis of a commemorative poem by Poet Laureate Simon Armitage, entitled Floral Tribute.
