Dahlia dreams for today’s cheerful flower.
This is ‘Wizard of Oz’, which I was given a couple of years ago by the then holders of the National Collection of Dahlias. It’s now been planted out, along with the rest of the dahlias, in one of my veg beds. They’re a bit smaller than usual, due to the slow start to spring, but I needed the pots for the tomatoes! I just hope they’re big enough to fight off the slugs and snails.
