Cheering Up Mondays #358

I’m starting to think about pruning my roses – it’s been too cold up until now – so a rose seemed ideal for this week’s cheerful flower.

Rosa ‘Ballerina’.

Regular readers will know that I don’t grow many roses on my sandy soil but this is one that is thriving despite the less than perfect conditions.

I don’t deadhead it as it produces tiny red-orange hips. Now is the time to tidy it up though.
