The first Cheering up Mondays picture of 2019 and this is one of my favourite winter-flowering shrubs. Lonicera fragrantissima may have tiny flowers but they have the strongest scent that reminds me of sherbet lemons.

I have this shrub in my new garden and hadn’t identified it yet, thank you!
It could also be Lonicera x purpusii ‘Winter Beauty’, which is similar. Both commonly known as winter honeysuckle and although a bit dull when not in flower, the scent more than makes up for it.
