Something that made its debut at RHS Sandringham for this week’s cheerful flower.

Meet Rosa ‘Lemon Drizzle’, which has been bred by Harkness Roses and named to celebrate the 2027 centenary of the National Garden Scheme. The nursery is donating money from the sale of every rose to the NGS, which supports many health and nursing charities. You can find out more here.
Like all the plants in the Floral Marquee, ‘Lemon Drizzle’ was feeling the heat but still beautiful. The name echoes the tea and cake that are such an important part of an NGS open garden.
