One of the latest additions to my garden for this week’s cheerful flower.
Meet Rosa ‘Scent from Heaven’, which is really rather lovely. I’ve planted two on matching obelisks at the top of some steps.

What a divine colour. My roses suffered from a week of mist and damp followed by heat and humidity. Cornwall is not especially good for roses.
I struggle with them in my sandy soil but they’re worth the effort.
