Cheering Up Mondays #529

It’s the first blooms of the summer for the flower that’s brightening the start of this week.

Hollyhock’s are a summer star in my garden.

I don’t remember how the hollyhocks first arrived in the garden but they’ve been popping up all over for many years now. The colour range is wide and, sometimes, they don’t put themselves in the best place. These are fine at the edge of the drive and are the first of this year’s plants to bloom.

For a weekly dose of floral cheer, just add your name to my mailing list.
