I first saw this week’s cheerful flower many years ago at RHS Chelsea.

I’m really glad I finally got around to adding some to the garden. Such a wonderful colour and its slender shape means it fits in easily among other things.

I’ve grown them for years, but mine are much paler. And they always get flattened by the wind!
Thankfully mine have survived.
