Meet the Rose of the Year 2026, which landed on my doorstep last week. Isn’t it a beauty!
The flowers of ‘Coral Gardens®’ are a lovely mix of pink-peach with a light fragrance and sit atop dark, glossy leaves. It’s a shrub rose with an upright habit and was bred by Kordes Rosen, who also bred ‘Peach Melba’, the 2023 choice, and ‘Meteor’, which was Rose of the Year 2024.
‘Peach Melba’ has been a particularly good rose for me and I’m hoping this will be another. It will be available for sale from this autumn.
