Cheering Up Mondays #409

Something from my recent visit to Colesbourne Park for this week’s cheerful flower but it’s not a snowdrop.

Prunus ‘Kursar’ – flowering cherry.

It’s very easy to pigeonhole gardens and, while Colesbourne has a wonderful display of snowdrops, it’s not the only thing brightening a February day.

This rather lovely cherry also caught my eye. Somehow, early blossom seems all the more beautiful.

Colesbourne Park has its last winter open days this weekend. Details on the website.
