Cheering Up Mondays #403

This week’s cheerful flower is a winter stalwart.

Galanthus plicatus ‘Colossus’.

Galanthus plicatus ‘Colossus’ is usually the first snowdrop to flower in my garden although this year there was a dead heat between it and ‘Mrs McNamara’ – she’s about three weeks earlier than usual.

There are several other varieties with their noses above ground though they’re likely to be slowed by this week’s forecast overnight frosts.
