Regular readers will notice there’s something different about the blog.
The Chatty Gardener turned two at the end of September and I decided it was time for a bit of a facelift. It’s taken me some time to decide exactly what to do – and to pluck up courage to tackle the I.T.
Hopefully, the changes will make the site easier to navigate with a fixed ‘menu’ at the top and the home page showing a selection of featured posts as well as a chronological scroll of articles.
What hasn’t changed is the mix of flowers, gardens, shows and book reviews, along with Cheering up Mondays and the sunflower!
Do have a look around and let me know what you think in the comments below. And, if you want to join in the conversation, sign up for an email alert when a new article is posted.
Happy Gardening!

Looking great hope 2018 is a great year in the garden Mandy
Thanks. Yes, hope 2018 will be good – shaping up well already with lots of things appearing!
Really user friendly! Love the sunflower 🙂
Had to keep the sunflower! 🙂
Good new look, really easy to find your way around
Good, glad it works 🙂
Looks great. Always enjoy reading your posts and this new design makes it easier to navigate. Thumbs up from me!
Excellent! Glad you like it 🙂
Looks very smart
Thanks. Hard work worth it (not a natural at I.T.) 🙂
It works alright. Very good!
Thanks! Always a slight worry that something will break in the process.
Hi Mandy, the other Mandy here! Just back online after a day of decorating – the site looks great! It’s clear, easy to find things and really shows your lovely pics off. I know the heartache and hard work that goes into any revamp, all worth it though.
Thanks – just so glad it worked out. Appreciate you taking the time to look it over. Hope the decorating is going well! 🙂
I moved to WordPress just over a year ago, it is a nerve racking time. I am pleased that I did it. I prefer the blogs with a white background, they are much easier to read.
I’m much better with plants and words than I am with I.T.! 🙂
