Cheering Up Mondays #506

This week’s cheerful flower is something that’s rather caught me out.

Peeping out over the old leaves.

I usually manage to cut off the old hellebore leaves before the flowers appear as it helps air circulation and means the blooms are easier to see. Not this year. The hellebores are already beginning to flower and, as you can see, the tatty old leaves are still in place. A job for this week, I think.
