Today’s cheerful flower was designed to do just that, cheer me up.
This hebe was a gift from my singing pals instead of flowers to let me know they were thinking of me during the past difficult weeks.
I’ve put it in a pot and have fleece ready as hebes are not always completely frost hardly and my garden is cold. It’s got pretty white flowers with a touch of pink and is a joy.

Hebes grow like weeds here, I am often pulling them out! But I do like the white one.
