Cheering Up Mondays #495

This week’s cheerful flower is something of a surprise.

Campanula persicifolia ‘Telham Beauty’.

These flowered as usual earlier in the year. I cut them back to tidy the dead stems and they bloomed for a second time. Now they are putting out a completely unexpected third set of flowers.

There are several things in the garden that are having another round of flowering – verbascum and roses are just two. It’s certainly been a strange season.
