Cheering Up Mondays #481

This week’s cheerful flower is something that I spotted when out doing a garden feature and decided to grow.

Dianthus ‘Rainbow Loveliness’.

I don’t grow many perennials from seed but I’m so glad I gave this a go. It’s got the most incredible scent. I’ve put it in the cut flower beds but, to be honest, it’s not the easiest to cut as in order to get a longish stem, you have to sacrifice buds. So, I think I’m going to move it to a border – somewhere near the path so we will smell it as we pass.
