One of my favourite early season stars for this week’s cheerful flower.
These seem to be a lot earlier this year. I usually have a couple of stalwart plants in flower in January but they were in bloom at the start rather than the middle of the month, and there are several more hot on their heels. Still, they do cheer up a dull, winter day.
