Cheering Up Mondays #448

This week’s cheerful flower is to celebrate the fact I’ve finally finished planting the rather large box – okay, two boxes – of bulbs.

Tulipa ‘Palmyra’.

This is a particularly lovely tulip with double blooms in a rich red-purple. It sometimes flowers for a second or third year but I’ve planted more this year to make sure.

  1. Lovely deep colour on your tulip. It would pair well with my last few blooms from my veg patch…nasturtiums and African marigolds, but sadly I don’t think they will last until your tulip flowers!
