Cheering Up Mondays #446

This week’s cheerful flower has me both gazing back and looking forward.

Muscari ‘White Spear’.

I’ve been finishing off bulb-planting in the garden but also starting to think about the year ahead. One of the highlights of my working year is the RHS Malvern Spring Festival and this beauty was spotted at the 2024 event on the HW Hyde & Son display. I’m already regretting not adding it to my bulb order.

  1. I’m sure I planted some white ones a few years ago, but haven’t seen them since. I’m not so keen on the paler muscari, I always find them somewhat insipid, though this photo is actually quite lovely.
