Cheering Up Mondays #443

Something a little more exotic for this week’s cheerful flower.

A mystery hedychium.

This is a ginger plant but beyond that I have no more information as it was a gift from a gardener many years ago. What I can tell you is that it always waits to flower until just before the first frosts – which we had last week. The blooms have a wonderful scent.

I grow it in a pot as my garden is pretty cold and it will soon be heading under cover for the winter.
