Something that has been having its best year for today’s cheerful flower.

I’ve had this crinum for several years but this is the first season there’s been more than one flower – currently two flower spikes with several blooms on each. It’s also the first time the plant hasn’t been eaten alive by slugs and snails. There are some upsides to the dry weather.

Lovely. I wonder if my Amarine will flower this year. They are supposed to like baking during the summer.
